One of the greatest things about running your own website business is the flexibility of running your own hours and working from just about anywhere. I also enjoy the traveling as I try to attend a couple of industry shows each year to stay on top of the ever changing online advertising market. For instance, this November I plan on attending Pub Con (short for Publisher Convention) in Las Vegas. There is nothing better than combining business and pleasure and there is no better place to do so than in Las Vegas. But to tell you the truth, I would really have preferred the conference would be taking place just 2 weeks later since I really wanted to attend this year's National Finals Rodeo (NFR). For any Rodeo fan, there is no bigger event then the annual championship sponsored by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. But anyone who has attended these events in the past can tell you that it's no cheap pleasure. Prices can be quite expensive if you choose to sit in the lower seats of the arena. Prices also go up towards the final sessions of the 10 day event. But then again that's when things get most interesting. The best for me would have been a case where I could combine the NFR event with the Pub Con conference to save on airfare and hotels but I'm still not ruling out making a second trip and indulging in pleasure without business. From previous experience, it is wise to book NFR Tickets in advance especially if you are on a budget so I guess I should make up my mind soon. Not easy being a website owner, is it? :)
