Set Aside Money For The Kids

Parents, just like how they take care of their children today, need also to set aside money for their children’s future. One of the best ways to do this is to cut back on taxes especially on real estate and pass the proceeds to your children.

Experts suggest that parents should put their assets in a trust fund that will provide income for the spouse for life and additional funds for other expenses and let the rest go to your children when either of you dies. Another way is to transfer the policy of your life insurance to a trust for your family. The proceeds then will not be taxed in your estate should you die.

Do pass on your valuables like antiques and jewelry to your kids. This will get them out of your estate and won’t lessen your present income.

You can also skip a generation to avoid tax when it concerns inheritance. For instance, you can let your grandchildren inherit your estate so your own children will avoid estate tax problems. Or you can let your children inherit your parents’ estate by disclaiming your inheritance when they die.

LCD Computer Monitors

Just like everything else in the technology world, computer monitors have changed greatly since the first bulky, heavy and small screened monitors were introduced. Now the attractive and slim LCD monitors that have replaced the older and less appealing ones resemble the size of a small TV more than a computer monitor. In fact there are monitors that can be used both as a monitor and a TV. Since the computer has become another form of entertainment, it’s no wonder that many people are switching their small and unclear monitors for large, thin and clear screens.

Protect Your Mouth

Anyone who has ever had any teeth related problem knows how utterly painful it can be. It seems strange that it is possible for so much pain to come from such a small part of our body, but that is the reality. Tooth pain is extremely uncomfortable and only grows if the proper care is neglected. From cavities to canker sores to dry mouth, there are many causes for the discomfort you may feel. One way of taking care of tooth related problems as well as preventing them is by using the right toothpaste. There are many types of toothpaste designed for ultra sensitive teeth, but none compare to Biotene Sensitive toothpaste.

This fantastic toothpaste has sensitivity relief and dry moth protection, helps prevent canker sores and irritation with a gentle low foaming formula, defends against bacteria plaque and gingivitis and has a great taste for fresh and clean breath. It is actually quite surprising what a pleasant taste this toothpaste has. I have had many gum infections in the past and there wasn’t any sensitive toothpaste that treated the problem. If I would have been using Biotene Sensitive toothpaste back then, it would have most definitely cured the pain for good.

Multiple Credit Cards

Everyone has at least one credit card these days. It is practically impossible not to have a credit card. You can’t make reservations at certain places, buy things online or make payments if you don’t have a credit card. Plus, most people don’t want to walk around with a lot of cash on them. However, there is a big difference between one credit card, and let’s say, ten credit cards. Many people simply cannot resist the tempting offers from the various companies, or keep on paying off their debt with a different card. The bottom line, if possible, it’s best to stick with a just a couple of credit cards.

Truly Remote Access

So many devices have come out over the years that help us bring our work on the road and away from our desk. While some debate whether this is a positive thing from a social aspect, there is no doubt as to the value this extra productivity allows. But with all the numerous devices that have come out over the years, none has been truly able to replace the PC as our main source of work. This makes being away from ones desktop for too long pretty problematic. But a new program added to the family of iPhone Applications is now bridging the gap between PC and handheld.

The idea behind Files 2 Phones is not to try and extend your Iphone's capabilities in order to replace your PC (since this is probably not feasible) but to grant you access to your PC directly from your IPhone no matter where you are. The Iphone application allows you to logon to your home or work computers and access any file or program as if you were sitting at your desk. You aren't limited to files that are compatible with your phone's applications since Files 2 Phones opens the files through the software which is installed on your PC. This is quite similar to various remote access programs that have been available for PC's for quite some time, but the fact that you can now run such an application on a mobile device brings remote access to a whole new level.

Choosing Mutual Funds

Every mutual fund is defined by its objective and the investment style of the fund manager. An objective is a goal or the financial result that the fund wants to realize. Investment style is the approach used by the fund manager to achieve the fund’s goal.

A fund is required to describe itself in a particular way such as a growth or income fund and to invest most of its assets on the type of investments suggested by its name. However, it is not recommended to judge a mutual fund by its name as there may be some unexpected surprises. Companies that track mutual funds categorize and evaluate them by the types of investments they make.
