Today's financial term of the day is a Call Option. Most of you have heard this term in the past, often referred to simply as a Call.
This is a type of agreement that gives an investor the ability to buy a stock, commodity, bond or any other investment instrument at a given price and at a given period of time. It should be remembered that with a call option, you will be given the power to call in, or buy, an asset. You then make a profit on a call when the asset’s price goes up.
