Backdating - What's all the Fuss?

This refers to the practice of dating a particular document with a date that is earlier than the on which it was originally made. This practice is often seen as being illegal and being an act of fraud. But there are certain situations in which backdating is used legally and in a way that is beneficial for example, in cases where a claim is backdated to an earlier date.
