We are now half way through the summer and if you are still planning on taking a vacation this summer, now’s the time to go. I know many people who enjoy winter travel for various reasons, some simply prefer the winter for job related reasons. But some destinations are simply much better enjoyed in the summer.
One of my favorite travel destinations is Amsterdam. I have been there in the winter once but can tell you that if you can afford to go during the summer – you should. Temperatures can reach painfully low levels during the winter months which can ruin your experience. Especially if you want to tour the city as the locals do – by bike.
