Supernatural

Ever since I saw the movie Field of Dreams with Kevin Costner years ago I think about what would happen if I would encounter a supernatural occurrence and how it would affect my life. While the phenomena and storyline in the Field of Dreams was actually quite silly and I never really got the point of the movie, one thing really got me thinking and that is the level of dedication and extreme Kevin Costner's character went to after having his so called "if you build it he will come" revelation.
The point is that I totally related to the way he reacted. I thought about it many times since then and am pretty sure that I would go to almost any extreme in order to understand and investigate something supernatural that would happen to me. I am anxious to see how the new 1408 movie based on a story by Stephen King will be. From what I understand the movie is about someone who dedicated his life trying to investigate supernatural phenomena after his daughter died but gave up at some point when he couldn't find any evidence of the supernatural. But the real story in the 1408 movie starts after he is already convinced there is no such thing as the supernatural but he soon discovers he is very wrong. I wonder how I would react in that situation.
