I just came across a really cool site that is dedicated completely to the sale of gift cards. At first I thought that it is kind of strange for a site to be dedicated entirely to gift cards but upon further inspection of the site I realized that my skepticism was due to the fact that I didn’t know what a market there is for gift cards and what an incredible product they are. Yes, they are a product. In fact at CityDeals.com the gift cards you purchase are not sent as simply a code by email but rather as an actual certificate which arrives by postal mail (this actually gives them a nice touch when given as a gift).
But from what I see on the site, there is no reason to limit the purchase of gift cards simply only for gifts. I would definitely buy several of the ones offered on the site for myself. The incredible thing is that the site has a daily sale (everyday at 9AM) of certain gift cards for up to 70% off. I find this truly amazing since after all these cards are almost like cash when used for purchasing products with them so you are actually getting a chance to buy cash at a discount. Now that’s a good deal!
