Smile - You've Got Cash!

There are so many credit card in the market now and it seems every bank is working head over heals to try and come up with a more original benefit plan for their card holders. Simply offering airline miles (while many times prove the most profitable benefit) has gone out of style long ago. Card issuers are offering anything from free gas to special discounts at various retail stores. Some cards are issued together with certain hotel chains offering upgrades on your stay and some try to cater more to the corporate world with business credit cards. But it is my opinion that if you want to offer a benefit, keep it straight forward and simple. That is why I like the smile credit card so much. In addition to other benefits, they offer a 0.5% cash back on all your purchases. So instead of figuring out what all the other benefits are worth, why not simply go for cash?
